Saw the show with Hazel O'Connor on Saturday night, dragged along by the parents, think I was one of about 3 teenagers in the whole venue
Must be a bit daunting to play to a group of pensioners all sitting in silence with gormless expressions on their faces, but it was pulled off well
Been listening to the album today and it's really decent, personally reminds me a bit of Texas. Thought the lap top set up at the gig worked pretty well ala Get Cape Wear Cape Fly - although bits could've been louder IMO - may well have been the venue's sound set up though.
Anyway, yeah thought it was really good, not my normal taste in music but thought I'd come on here and give my thoughts (can see the forum's nice and popular ) |

Hi Ollie,
Thank you very much for the feedback.
Yeah, the forum seems a little empty at the moment since we've just started it, but things will pick up as she gets more visibility.
I'll pass on your comments to Lu since she's on the road and doesn't have regular access to the net.
Again, thank you for the post.
Luc. |

No worries
Been listening to the album quite a bit more actually, and some of the tracks really are ace!
If Lu ever needs merch designs or anything, I design for the band The Subways. I do their shirts, some artwork etc - so if you need someone feel free to give me a shout! Below was done in 2 minutes, so with a bit more time I'm sure something decent could be worked out!
